Cavaliers Announce 2018 Color Guard Team

(ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS) – The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is proud to announce our 2018 Color Guard Educational Team.
"Dr. Travis Speice returns for his sixth year as Color Guard Caption Manager, leading an exceptional team of the activity's top educators," said Joe Roach, Director of Programs & Corps Director of The Cavaliers.
Tommy Allen returns as the caption's supervisor, and both Allen and Blake Dutton serve as the caption's designers, alongside choreographers Tyler Richards, Geoff Longo, Lauren Drislane, and Jennifer Hinshaw.
"The continuity with our color guard team over the years has fostered a consistent, demanding, and rewarding experience for our membership here at The Cavaliers," Roach added. "Travis and his staff will once again develop some of the best performers and future educators over the course of our 70th anniversary season, and we're looking forward to sharing more about The Cavaliers' 2018 Color Guard with fans across the country!"
Travis Speice, Color Guard Caption Manager of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, is eager to begin the 2018 season with this veteran color guard staff.
"The educators on this team are experts in their craft, and we have a long history of working together at The Cavaliers and other top-tier programs," said Speice. "We're intensely focused on education and providing our members with an environment to be successful in tackling new and demanding challenges."
The Color Guard Team will include the detailed coaching and training of Lauren Drislane, Geoff Longo, Ethan Marcus, Darren Martin, CJ McCrory, Tyler Richards, and Robin Wells.
"With that foundation and developmental support, The Cavaliers' Color Guard will be prepared to entertain audiences, achieve excellence in performance, and bring the 2018 production to life in a big way," Speice added. "I'm excited to see what this group of educators and members will accomplish together this summer!"
