Omari Simmons

Omari Simmons began his dance training at Morehouse College before earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Minor in Fashion Design. He later continued his studies at the Joffrey Ballet School as a Jazz and Contemporary Trainee, where he completed his Master of Fine Arts magna cum laude.

Omari has performed with Madison Scouts, Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps, and Paramount Winter Guard, and has spent the past two years as an Ensemble Vacation Swing with Aladdin on Broadway. Now residing in New York City, he works as a performing artist and travels nationally as an assistant with NYCDA and StarTalent Productions.

He has collaborated with organizations such as Mill Creek High School, the Mandarins, and Paramount, and has had the privilege of working with celebrated choreographers.

Outside of the performance season, Omari is active in Dance consulting and Fitness event Engagement. In his free time, he enjoys fashion, thrifting, and exploring movement in all its forms.
