Kyle Guinn

Kyle Started his pageantry background in middle school playing the clarinet. During high school, he shifted into performing with the color guard and studying dance. During the summer prior to his senior year, he began his Drum Corps career with the Phantom Regiment in 2019. Marching Phantom from 2019-2022, Kyle served as the head captain of the color guard his last year with the corp. He aged out in 2023 with the Blue Devils. Kyle was also an active participant in WGI marching with Spirit Independent World in 2021, Origins Independent World 2022-2024, and most recently Paramount 2025-2026.

Along with his performance career, Kyle has an extensive background teaching and choreographing for a variety of groups in the activity. Some of these include Friendswood HS, Franklin HS, Spring HS, Vandegrift HS, Shadow Creek HS, and Troopers. He also recently worked as Synced Up Design’s Movement Coordinator, directing the full production of visual choreography for marching band, percussion, and color guard programs.

In addition to choreography, he built a structured, scalable curriculum to support a unified marching arts education platform. During his time in the marching arts, Kyle continued his educational career at the University of Houston. He graduated in May of 2024 with a B.A. in Corporate Communications and a Minor in Dance. He's had various performance opportunities with the university including "Emerging Choreographers Showcase" and Dance Source Houston's "Mind the Gap". During this time, he studied various styles and techniques of dance including modern, ballet, contemporary, jazz, theater, and aerial arts.
