Cavaliers Announce 2020 Design Team

(ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS) - The Cavaliers are pleased to announce our Design Team for the 2020 season, under the guidance of Program Coordinator David McGrath.
McGrath, who returns for his seventh year with The Cavaliers and fifth season as Program Coordinator, leads the veteran creative team of Daniel Wiles (Artistic Director), Tommy Allen (Visual Designer), Blake Dutton (Color Guard Designer), Richard Hinshaw (Drill Designer), Michael Martin (Brass Arranger), Michael McIntosh (Percussion Arranger), Alan Miller (Percussion Arranger), Clif Walker (Percussion Designer, Ensemble Specialist, Arranger) and Geoff Longo (Color Guard Choreographer).
“I am absolutely thrilled to have all our primary designers back in 2020 season,” said Monte Mast, Executive Director. “Bringing back this dynamic and highly creative team to The Cavaliers was an important part of the long-term growth of our organization.”
“I am very proud of experiences this team has been able to create for our members, staff, and the drum corps community,” added Mast. “This team is seasoned, and they have an incredible working dynamic that gets stronger and stronger as each year passes. I am excited to see this team build upon the successes from the 2019 season.”
ABOUT OUR 2019 DESIGN TEAM
The Cavaliers are actively recruiting for the upcoming 2020 season, with live Audition Experience events in California, Atlanta, Japan, Dallas / Ft. Worth, and Chicago, as well as Video auditions now open for registration. We are searching for the next group of young men who will challenge themselves to take bold steps forward in 2020 as performers, as leaders, and as Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers were founded in 1948 from Boy Scout Troop 111 by the late Don Warren. One of the most successful drum and bugle corps in history, The Cavaliers have won 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International world championships, since 1992.
The Cavaliers provide a variety of life-changing educational and performance programs for young people that go beyond music and performing arts to build personal accountability, excellence, teamwork and camaraderie. Programs include GearWORKS, Cavaliers Indoor Percussion, Chromium Winds, Crystal Lake Thunder and Midwest Connection.
