Kevin Shah
Residing in Wildomar, California with his wife, Erica and their beautiful little girl, Emryn, Kevin Shah is passionate about bringing artistic expression to life through composition and re-imagining the world in creative and meaningful ways.
Kevin has had the privilege of working with some of the top organizations, designers, and educators in DCI over the last 15 years. Kevin served as the Sound Designer for the Bluecoats from 2010 – 2013 as well as a Music Design Consultant in 2022. In 2014, Kevin joined the Blue Knights as the Front Ensemble Arranger and Music Coordinator and added the role of Creative Director in 2019. Most recently, Kevin was the Front Ensemble Composer and Sound Designer at Carolina Crown for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Kevin owns and operates projectRISEmusic.com, and in 2021, launched PRMworkshops.com, serving hundreds in the marching arts community through workshops and resources.
Kevin is the Front Ensemble Designer for Broken City, and the Winds and Front Ensemble designer for Vista Murrieta High School and recently concluded a 20-year career with Arcadia High School. He actively contributes to the marching arts as a board member for Winter Guard International (WGI), Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA), and Broken City, and is a member of the WGI Percussion Steering Committee.
Kevin holds a B.M. in percussion performance from UCLA and an M.M. from the Juilliard School of Music.
