A New Drill Designer Joins Familiar Faces From 2023
The Cavaliers are thrilled to announce their 2024 program design team. Building upon the solid foundation of ten dedicated and seasoned individuals who have returned to their roles from last year, we are excited to announce a dynamic addition: we proudly welcome Mason Daffinee as Drill Designer. His fresh, innovative perspective promises to add an exciting new dimension to our established team. David Starnes, Program Coordinator, comments that the addition of Mason Daffinee will allow The Cavaliers to maintain their decades-long tradition of being visual innovators within the activity. “His creativity has been admired and recognized through his incredible work at Ronald Reagan HS (TX) for many years” says Starnes. He adds that “as the DCI activity continues to evolve, we are seeing more and more new faces who will push and creatively challenge the boundaries of design within our activity. Without a doubt, Mason is one of those faces who will influence the pageantry arts for years to come and we are excited to welcome his insight and visual perspective to our organization.”
Our design team members look forward to continuing and building upon the creative collaboration and positive culture they established in 2023. “When you collect this many world class designers and educators on one staff, great things happen and we are thrilled with the excitement and momentum the organization is currently experiencing” states Starnes. “The mutual respect, both personally and professionally, shown by each member of the team was a sign of the success and enjoyment we would experience from the start. The chemistry of this team is truly special and very unique in our activity. I am honored to work with this ‘A-list’ of talented people and look forward to once again leading them as we begin our creative process together.”
