Cavaliers Announce 2019 Brass Team

(ROSEMONT, Ill.) – The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce our 2019 Brass Educational Team, under the direction of Kevin LeBoeuf, Drew Dickey, and Claire Pittman.
“We welcomed Kevin and many new brass educators to The Cavaliers last year with open arms, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they were able to accomplish,” said Michael Vaughn, Corp Director.
Kevin LeBoeuf returns for his second year as Brass Caption Manager in 2019, along with Caption Coordinator Drew Dickey and Caption Administrator Claire Pittman.
“We are honored to have Kevin, Drew and Claire lead this exceptional team of brass musicians and educators, this summer” Vaughn said.
“I am incredibly excited for Drew and Claire to continue their roles as brass coordinator and administrator,” said Kevin LeBoeuf, Brass Caption Manager for The Cavaliers. “Drew’s university background and Claire’s incredible administrative skills help the brass staff collaborate with other sections of the drum corps, and be the most organized, effective version of ourselves.”
DCI Hall of Fame member Freddy Martin returns as Pedagogy Coordinator, with Travis Cross, Sean Conley, Alan Armstrong and Uichi Kajiyama serving as Ensemble Consultants.
The talented brass educational team includes Alec Blazek, Joey Chen, Jeremy Figlewicz, Jonathan Gill, Matt Hernandez, Patrick Hinton, Clark Hunt, Matt Owen, Tim Sexton, Jeremy Stevens and new additions Matthew Ezeh and Kazuto Ito.
“We are so excited for year two with this brass team and are already seeing the benefits of last year’s efforts through the nonstop work of the returning members,” LeBoeuf said.
