Mike Madonia

Mr. Mike Madonia is currently at College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois where he conducts the Concert band and Wind Ensemble and teaches applied trumpet. He has previously taught at DePaul University, Robert Morris University, St. Xavier University and South Suburban College

Mr. Madonia has also been active in the Drum Corps community as brass caption head of Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps, brass staff for Spirit of Atlanta, Colts and Kilties and is proud and honored to be joining the Cavalier Brass Staff

Mr. Madonia has had a distinguished career in Education of over 44 years at the High School and Elementary Level. His bands were Finalists in Bands of America Regional festivals, and his concert programs were award winning ensembles in the State of Illinois.

Mr. Madonia serves as the Executive Director for the Midwest Music Festival, Chicago Area Jazz Festival and is the Midwest Regional Coordinator for Festivals of Music. He has also served on the IHSA Music Advisory Committee, the National Federation of High Schools Music Advisory committee, the National Catholic Band Association.
