Robert Baker-Hargrove named LGBTQIA Champion of Progress
Cavaliers alumnus and CAPE Board of Directors member Robert Baker-Hargrove has been recognized on the Marquis Who’s Who 2022 second quarter Maker’s List, celebrating LGBTQIA Champions of Progress. The list recognizes 50 outstanding individuals for contributing to the acceptance and inclusivity for the LGBTQIA community. Baker-Hargrove is listed alongside renowned names such as Harvey Milk, George Takei, Billie Jean King, Bowen Yang, Laverne Cox, Andrea Jenkins, and Tony Briffa. The full list of 50 can be viewed here.
In August of 2021, Baker-Hargrove was inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who, a prestigious biographical registry. This list is reserved for individuals who stand out based on their noteworthy accomplishments, prominence in a field, and visibility in their communities, among other factors. After working for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando for nearly 25 years, Robert joined 26Health with spouse Dr. David Baker-Hargrove as the co-founder, co-chief executive officer, and chief operations officer. The 26 in 26Health represents the 26 letters of the alphabet, representing that no matter how one identifies, they are cared for by this organization. 26Health offers quality healthcare (regardless of ability to pay). Offerings include mental health services, a drug discount program, and adoption and aesthetic services.
Baker-Hargrove marched with The Cavaliers Colorguard in 1992 and is now a CAPE Board of Directors member. We are so proud of all he’s accomplished, and are incredibly lucky to have him in our organization!
