Stewart Alloway

Stewart Alloway is a native of St. Louis, Missouri where he has been a Band Director, Clinician, and Consultant since 2012. During his tenure at Jefferson City (MO) High School and Washington (MO) High School, Stewart was a New Teacher of the Year recipient, a Two-Time Teacher of the Year Nominee, and doubled the size of both programs. He led both programs to numerous BOA Super Regional Top 20 Finishes, Top 3 MCCGA State Color Guard Championships including a state title in 2022 with Washington, and had his ensembles were selected for the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference 3 times.

Stewart received his Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Kansas and his Masters of Music Education and Conducting from the University of Central Missouri. Stewart is a proud alumnus of the Cavaliers marching in both the 2008 and 2009 seasons and part of the season in 2010. He also holds active memberships in the Missouri Music Educators Association, Missouri Bandmasters Association, and Phi Beta Mu.
