Jeff Gill

Treasurer

Jeff Gill’s journey with The Cavaliers began in 1986, when he marched with the guard, realizing a lifelong dream and concluding an eight-year drum corps career that started in Connecticut with various junior and senior corps in 1978. This pivotal age-out experience stands among his proudest achievements.

Jeff earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a Concentration in Computer Science from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, in 1986. Shortly after graduating and immediately following the 1986 DCI season, he began his professional career at IBM, as a systems engineer in the zTPF Systems development lab.

In 1993, Jeff joined Visa, where he held a wide range of leadership roles in Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Finance. He made an impact through work in core systems resilience, technology procurement, domestic processing architecture, data center migrations, technology strategy, and capacity/capital planning. As leader of the Technology Program Office and Cyber Engineering team, he helped guide efforts focused on New Payment Flows. Jeff is also recognized as the original architect and patent-holder for the Vital Signs real-time monitoring application.

After 31 years, Jeff retired from Visa in July 2024. He now divides his time between San Francisco, CA and Puerto Vallarta, MX. Deeply committed to The Cavaliers' legacy, Jeff joined the Board of Directors in 2019 and, in 2024, assumed the role of Treasurer.
