Ellen Huxtable
Board Member
Ellen Huxtable is a Chicago area parent of FMM, Nathan Huxtable, and has been a consistent volunteer and supporter of The Cavaliers. Ellen joined the CAPE Board of Directors in 2017 and now serves as Board Secretary, member of the Executive Committee and chair of the Governance Committee and has chaired the Organizational Culture Committee.
Ms. Huxtable is a graduate of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. She has spoken at national and regional management events and has written for multiple publications. She is a dynamic facilitator and conducts workshops and seminars. She has expertise in marketing, management, planning, and entrepreneurial growth.
Ellen has served as an adjunct instructor at Waubonsee Community College and is a member of the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory Community Board. She is the founder of the Congregational Church of Batavia Small Business Networking Group, and a co-sponsor of the CEO Series, a monthly forum for business growth. She also has served on the Board of Directors for the Old Town School of Folk Music, and served as the host for The Business Spotlight, a program of BATV Batavia Public Access Television. She is also a speaker about the World War II Japanese American Incarceration history.
Ellen resides in Batavia, IL with her husband Robert and is active in her church and the Batavia community.
