​Dr. Brenda Brak

Dr. Brenda Brak began volunteering with the Cavalier Medical Group has served on the Cavaliers' Board of Directors since 2015 and has been a member of the Cavalier Medical Group since 2002. She has been the lead physician for the group since 2013.

Dr. Brak is Board certified in Family Medicine and practices primary care in Barrington Illinois. She graduated with a BS in biology from the University of Illinois Champaign Urbana and received her MD from the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago. She completed her family medicine residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. She currently practices in the Advocate Aurora Healthcare system and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Brenda resides in Lake Barrington, Illinois with husband and Cavalier alumni Dale Hallerberg, who also is founder and director of the King Cobras Drumline, an all-ability group that is part of the CAPE programs. They have two grown daughters and a grandson.
