Dr. Alan G. Micco

Dr. Alan Micco has been a member of the Cavalier’s medical team since 2015 and a member of the CAPE Board of Directors since 2019. He became involved as a volunteer when son Alex (FMM 2015-2018) joined The Cavaliers.

Dr. Micco is an otolaryngologist, specializing in ear disorders at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is also a professor at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He serves as the Otolaryngology Residency Program Director and the Vice Chair of Education.

Dr. Micco is originally from New Castle, PA and received his undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College. He completed his medical school, otolaryngology residency and Otology Fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Micco serves on many national organizations including being a board examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and as a member of the Otolaryngology Residency Review Committee for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

Alan is also on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Hearing Society and President of the Board of Directors for the American Hearing Research Foundation.

Dr. Micco and wife Joyce reside in Lemont, Il and they have one son FMM Alex (2015-2018).
