(ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS) - The Cavaliers invite our loyal alumni, supporters, friends, and family to our first ever CAVALIERS SUMMER SEND-OFF on Friday, June 14th, 2019. Attendees will get an exclusive first look at the 2019 uniforms, a special reveal and presentation of the 2019 production, and a first listen to the full 2019 repertoire including encore music! The SUMMER SEND-OFF will be your ONE AND ONLY chance to see it all live before we journey to California.
Held in the beautiful Rosemont Theatre, this event will highlight the organization's history, celebrate our successes, and benefit The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps.
VIP RSVP PURCHASERS will enjoy an exclusive reception starting at 6:00pm that features a cash bar/cocktail hour, a delicious meal, and dessert options. During the cocktail hour, VIP attendants will enjoy special guest speakers, a Meet & Greet with our 2019 Drum Majors and Junior Officers, silent auction, and much more!
Dress is casual for the event as this will lead into the main Send-Off event, starting at 7:30pm, featuring performances:

3-time WGI Winds Open Class Champions, Chromium Winds and
Special performances individually by the world-renowned, Cavaliers Color Guard, Brass, and Percussion
First look at The Cavaliers 2019 Production
The night will conclude in a presentation of our 2019 Honorary Cavalier & DeGrauwe Legacy Award PLUS all attendees will have FIRST GRABS of the new 2019 merchandise.
REMEMBERING DON WARREN
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Don Warren, founder of The Cavaliers. Mr. Warren meant a great deal to our organization and left a lasting legacy for our entire drum corps community.
During the event, we will be celebrating his life, legacy, and honoring his memory. To Don Warren, we thank you and will miss you dearly.
ABOUT KINGPINS DRUMLINE
Kingpins Drumline is a cooperative effort with the Northern Illinois Recreation Association (NISRA) and the Crystal Lake Strikers designed to bring the excitement of drumming to students with special needs.
The Kingpins program leads students to a greater appreciation of music by playing percussion instrument with recorded music.
ABOUT CRYSTAL LAKE STRIKERS
Crystal Lake Strikers, based out of Crystal Lake, IL., is a performing arts organization that focuses on providing a performance outlet for musicians while supporting and educating young people. Programs include Crystal Lake Thunder (affiliate program of The Cavaliers), Convergence Winter Guard, Strikers AllStars, Girls on the Drum, Kingpins Drumline, and the Crystal Lake Strikers Drum Line.
ABOUT CHROMIUM WINDS
Chromium Winds (CW) is the Independent Winds ensemble representing The Cavaliers based out of Rosemont, IL. Participating in the Winter Guard International (WGI) Winds circuit, CW will offer young male and female performers a competitive performance outlet in the Chicagoland area that builds on the style, creativity, and excellence of The Cavaliers' award-winning programs and ensembles.

Founded in 1948 from Boy Scout Troop 111, The Cavaliers are one of the most successful drum and bugle corps in history, winning 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International world championships since 1992.
The Cavaliers provide a variety of educational and performance programs for young people, including GearWORKS, Cavaliers Indoor Percussion, Chromium Winds, Crystal Lake Thunder, and Midwest Connection. The organization delivers life-changing experiences that go beyond music and performing arts to build personal accountability, excellence, teamwork, and camaraderie.
