Cavaliers Announce 2021 Medical Staff

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(ROSEMONT, Ill.) – The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is pleased to announce our 2021 Medical Staff, headed by Medical Lead Dr. Brenda Brak.

"The Cavalier Medical Group has been working behind the scenes during the pandemic to help create a healthy and safe environment for our members, “ stated Dr. Brak. “All of our corps members, volunteers and staff are fully vaccinated which has made us more comfortable moving forward with our 2021 season."

Other key members of the Medical Staff include Helen Turner, the Lead Nurse, and Sarah Shade, the Athletic Trainer, who will be supporting Dr. Brak through all of the new safety precautions in place for the season.

The rest of the medical staff includes Dr. Alan Micco, Dr. Tom Freeman, Mitchell DeGrauwe, RN, Chris Cunningham, RN, Jenny Dimitroff, RN, Paula Lamb, RN, and Chad Gann, RN.

The Cavaliers were founded in 1948 from Boy Scout Troop 111 by the late Don Warren. One of the most successful drum and bugle corps in history, The Cavaliers have won 20 national championships, including seven Drum Corps International world championships, since 1992.

The Cavaliers provide a variety of life-changing educational and performance programs for young people that go beyond music and performing arts to build personal accountability, excellence, teamwork and camaraderie. Programs include GearWORKS, Cavaliers Indoor Percussion, Chromium Winds, Crystal Lake Thunder and Midwest Connection.
