Cavaliers Host Annual Kickoff Symposium for Parents and Alumni

The Cavaliers are pleased to invite our alumni and parents to Hampshire High School in Hampshire, Ill., on Saturday, April 28, 2018 for our third-annual Kickoff Symposium!

This informative event, first held in 2016, will center around the organization’s mission, policies, operations, and opportunities for involvement. The Cavaliers' leadership will also use the Kickoff Symposium as an opportunity to continue our open discussion surrounding Student and Workplace Safety.

Please read our recent article, Cavaliers Continue Focus on Student, Workplace Safety and make your plans to join us on April 28.

"The annual Kickoff Symposium is our chance to foster involvement, community, and knowledge sharing amongst our parents and alumni," said Chris Lugo, Executive Director.

"When we take the time to sit down, introduce the organization and our folks, and answer direct questions, we help build a closer and more meaningful relationship with our larger Cavalier Family."

Each session will feature informational presentations, panel discussions, and a closer look at the organization and drum corps in action. The event will start with the Parent session (10am-1pm) followed immediately by our Alumni session (1-4pm), which will be co-hosted by the Cavalier Alumni Association (CAA).

For those unable to attend in person, The Cavaliers and the CAA are planning to stream each session on the 2018 Cavalier Parents and Cavalier Alumni Facebook groups, respectively.
