CAPE Welcomes New Board Member, appoints New Treasurer

The Cavaliers Arts, Performance & Education (CAPE) proudly announces the addition of a new member to its Board of Directors and the appointment of an experienced board member to the position of Treasurer on its Executive Committee.

Ann Miller joins the Board of Directors after dedicating several years to volunteering with The Cavaliers. Her son participated in the drum corps from 2016 to 2019, and Ann has continued to support the culinary team even beyond his age-out. Ann is the proprietor of Glitz Nashville, a bridal and formal wear store in Nashville, TN, recognized as the Tennessee Small Business Administration’s Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year in 2018. With a deep passion for the marching arts and a desire to connect with fellow Cavaliers parents, Ann brings both business acumen and a love for the arts to our Board.

Jeff Gill is excited to assume the role of Treasurer as he prepares for retirement from his corporate career in June. Jeff, who marched and aged out with The Cavaliers in 1986, has been a dedicated board member since 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Jeff’s corporate journey includes systems development with IBM and various positions at Visa spanning management, engineering, architecture, and finance. Notable among his achievements is the creation of the Vital Signs real-time monitoring application at Visa, for which he holds a patent. Jeff brings a discerning financial perspective and a wealth of relevant experience to his role as Treasurer on CAPE’s Executive Committee.
