The Cavaliers have long been nicknamed the Green Machine for the precision and attention to detail demonstrated both on and off the field of competition.

From this reputation, the GEAR quickly developed as a visual representation of each individual's undeniable role in driving the larger Machine forward.  

As we build on the organization's momentum, we launch GEARS IN MOTION to celebrate 70 years and to set the stage for the years ahead.

GEARS IN MOTION is...

  • Shining the Spotlight | Celebrating and recognizing the incredible people who live and breathe The Cavaliers’ mission;
  • Connecting with Our History | Honoring founder Don Warren by building that connection to our history, our alumni, and our community.

Since 1982, the Village of Rosemont, Illinois has fueled The Cavaliers with a level of support unmatched across the entire marching arts community. 

In recognition of the organization’s history, progress, and growing needs, Mayor Bradley Stephens and the Village's Board of Trustees recently re-energized their commitment to The Cavaliers with a new and improved four-year agreement. 

To match this renewed commitment from Rosemont, The Cavaliers plan to grow our student base, enhance our community involvement, and further develop our donor and volunteer support efforts.

With the New Year upon us, The Cavaliers will be reporting back to Rosemont on our ability to engage our supporters like we never have before.

That’s why members of our Board of Directors, alumni, volunteers, and parents built a $20,000 matching challenge to celebrate the Green Machine and ring in our 70th Anniversary Year.

We ask that you please consider a tax-deductible gift (one-time or monthly) that’s right for your budget before 2017 ends.
