Looking for information on the In-School Drumming Program? See below!

The King Cobras Drumline and Color Guard programs are fun, active, educational groups for all abilities, including diverse learners and special-needs students. The Color Guard spins flags together to popular music, while the Drumline drums together to backing tracks. Students participate at a high level of excitement throughout the classes. The activities learned encourage development and engagement in many motor skills including eye hand coordination, bilateral coordination, motor planning, grasping skills, and attention to task skills. The activity promotes improved skills in all of these areas all while having FUN!

The King Cobras staff bring drums/flags, sound equipment, instructors, and an educational plan to communities with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  This can be done at high schools, middle schools, transitional programs, park districts, or any place where people of different abilities gather.

By providing a fun, musical program, the King Cobras program seeks to elevate the participant’s skills while helping them grow in confidence and pride.
