Talon White

Talon White of San Marcos, Texas, is a current senior at Texas State University, studying classical performance on tuba under Raul Rodriguez. In his time there, he has spent multiple semesters performing in the university’s premier ensembles, such as the Texas State Wind Symphony, and the Texas State Symphony Orchestra, including a performance at the CBDNA convention in Fort Worth, Texas in March of 2025. Additionally, he competed and was selected as a finalist two consecutive years at the Texas State University Concerto and Aria Competition in 2024 and 2025.

Involved with the marching arts from a young age, Talon has spent time as a performer with several DCI and WGI groups, including the Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps, the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, the Cavaliers drum and Bugle Corps, as well as Crossmen Winds. Additionally, he is actively involved in music education, having spent time teaching groups such as the Jack C. Hays High School Marching Band, and the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, and has acted as a judge for UIL region auditions.
