Luke Daniels

Luke Daniels is a music and marching arts educator from Stevens Point, Wisconsin while currently residing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  After High School, he went to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental and General Music Education.  He is currently serving as a General Music, Chorus, and Band educator for Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in West Allis, Wisconsin.  He is an advocate for equitable and accessible music education for all and focuses on student mental health in education. 

During his time at UWM, he performed on Oboe with the Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra, and on Tenor Saxophone with the Saxophone Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble.  There he studied with Katherine Steele, Dr. Nicki Roman, Dr. John Climer, Dr. Scott Corley and Jonathan Winkle. Luke has also found a love for arranging and writing music while at UWM and has done so since 2017 for Saxophone Quartet, Woodwind Quintet, Saxophone Ensemble, Show Choir, Concert Band, and Symphonic Orchestra.  

Within the marching arts, Luke has performed on Mellophone with River City Rhythm (17-18) and The Cavaliers (19-21).  In 2022, he performed with The Cavaliers Hornline at TMEA giving a clinic on the ensemble's orchestral approach to brass performance.  In teaching ensembles, He has worked as a visual technician for six years with the Oak Creek Marching Knights (2018-current) and River City Rhythm Drum and Bugle Corps in 2022 and 2024.  He is excited to continue serving as Chromium Winds' Woodwind Technician for the third year in a row, and excited to work on movement and dance with the group as well!
