Guillermo Ramirez

Guillermo Ramirez is a freelance musician residing in Terre Haute, IN where he is currently the percussion director at Northview high school. He has been active in the marching arts community for over a decade as both a performer and educator. He has performed with groups such as The Cavaliers in 2011, Velocity Indoor Percussion in 2012 and 2013, Bluecoats Winter Guard in 2019, and “Blast!” 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2024. As an educator he’s worked with such groups as FIU Indoor Percussion in 2017 and 2018, FIU Winds in 2018, Flanagan High School in 2018, and WGI PSA Finalist Northview High School Indoor Percussion from 2019-present.

Most recently Guillermo has been the visual manager for the Tony and Emmy award winning Broadway musical production, “Blast!”, where he plays trombone, baritone, snare drum, and a multitude of other percussion instruments. 

Guillermo is very excited to be coming on board for The Cavaliers. It has been a dream of his to teach at a place that gave him so much when he marched. He looks forward to the summer and can’t wait for what’s in store for The Cavaliers in 2025.
