Danielle Schweiger Young
Danielle Young is originally from Carmel, Indiana, and has been involved in the marching arts in various capacities for 20+ years. She marched as a color guard member of the Carmel High School Marching Greyhounds, the Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Zydeco Independent World Class Color Guard.
She’s since served as a technician, choreographer, designer, caption head, consultant, and friend for many programs across the country, including such programs as Carmel High School, Center Grove High School, Greenfield Central High School, Brentwood High School, Lake Hamilton High School, and various feeder programs of those schools.
In the drum corps space, Danielle has worked with Music City Drum & Bugle Corps, as a designer for the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps, as a caption head for The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps, as clinical weapon technician for the Phantom Regiment, and as a co-caption head for the Carolina Crown.
She currently consults and judges with various groups around the country, this season working with her close friend Michael O’Neil and his world class winterguard Eklipse, out of Nashville, Tennessee. Danielle resides in Broad Ripple, Indiana with her husband Jeff, and works full time as Vice President & Senior Benefits Consultant for USI Insurance.
