Dane Castillo

Demetrio “Dane” Castillo is from New Orleans, LA and marched with the Cavaliers back in 2018 playing baritone and running the metronome. Dane graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor’s in Music Composition back in 2020 playing Euphonium and Percussion for their ensembles. Meanwhile, Dane has been helping out with many high school, middle school, and independent musical programs throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. Dane was recently named Assistant Band Director at Archbishop Rummel High School and the Raider Band located in Metairie, LA. Besides playing and writing music, Dane enjoys playing video games on his Nintendo Switch and PC, laughing at different types of comedy, and spending time with friends and family!
