Andrew Roembke
Andrew Roembke is a private trumpet instructor and performer in Indianapolis, IN. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 2023 in Trumpet Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, studying with Joey Tartell. During his time at the university, he won the Brass Concerto Competition and performed John Mackey’s Antique Violences with the IU Wind Ensemble in 2024. Since graduating from IU, Andrew has been teaching privately full time, working with Avon and other Indianapolis schools.
Andrew began his drum corps career as a member of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle corps in 2018. He continued as a member of the corps from ‘20-‘21, as well as performing with the Bluecoats 2022 Alumni Corps. He began teaching the marching arts in 2019 as a trumpet and visual instructor for Lafayette Jefferson, the Indiana Scholastic Class A State Champion, and has continued with other Indianapolis schools since then. He is excited to return to DCI as an educator with the Cavaliers.
