Help Fuel The Green Machine in 2021!

We Need Your Help! Sponsor A Meal - Help Fuel The Green Machine!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(ROSEMONT, Ill.) — We can all agree that this past year has been the most challenging in our nation’s history. While we now have hope that we will be returning to some manner of normalcy, we are not there yet.

The pandemic had devastating impact on us and we are still feeling the effects of it. Normally we would execute 29 shows, this year we will only be able to do 10 shows. Because of the reduction in shows, we are losing $150,000 in appearance fees.

As you know our shows are major productions involving 220 members, instructional staff, administration, media team, medical team, volunteers, and drivers. The three meals and snacks we provide to all costs $1,250 daily and this year we have 45 days of touring while executing our 10 shows. Our total food cost for this year’s tour is $56,250.

The Cavaliers have a proud history of producing and presenting the most entertaining and exciting productions, consistently ranking among the top corps in the history of the activity. But not only do our young men deliver show stopping performances, equally important they learn character building skills, they build life-long relations with fellow members, they gain understanding and tolerance for members with different backgrounds than their own, all in a safe space.

Please help us reach our $56,250 goal and ensure our tour participants are fed by donating BREAKFAST ($250), LUNCH ($400), DINNER ($600), SNACK ($150), or a FULL day’s worth of meals ($1,250) for any date of The Cavaliers’ Summer Tour! Your donation goes directly toward offsetting meal costs each day. If you cannot support any of the above meal choices, please consider donating whatever amount you can.

Click the button below or go to give.cavaliers.org/meals to view the Cav-A-Meal page which includes the calendar with all of the open dates and meals. Navigate starting in the month of JULY to see what meal or full-day options you can support. Once a meal or day is purchased, we will indicate that it is no longer available on the calendar.

Enter the desired date for your meal donation and the name of the individual/family/group you would like recognized, and we will follow up once your donation is received. We really need your help. Thank you for your consideration.
