(ROSEMONT, ILLINOIS) - Chromium Winds (CW), the Independent Open Winds ensemble presented by The Cavaliers, is proud to present their 2019 production, “LEFT TO RIGHT.”

Drawing inspiration from one of the most fundamental dichotomies in everyday life, “Left to Right” explores the many ways the duality of direction can be expressed. The program shows a wide variety of interpretations of these two directions through use of geographical, physical, and development and even an exploration of the neurological differences between left brain and right brain.

Repertoire Features:

“Partita for 8 Voices” by Caroline Shaw

“Everything in its Right Place” by Radiohead

Original Music by Michael Martin

“Led by Creative Director Christian Cruz-Vargas, our design team has crafted an engaging and enjoyable program for audiences while being equally educational for our performers,” said Andrew Zweibel, CW’s Ensemble Director. “We are incredibly lucky to work with talented designers like Kevin Nevsimal (visual design), Matt Hahn (percussion/electronics design), Jordan Fandrey (choreography), and new this year, Michael Martin (music design)!”

Chromium Winds is proud to have the support of The Cavaliers’ strategic partners and suppliers, including Fred J Miller, Inc., Yamaha, Pageantry Innovations, and DSI.
