Cavaliers Announce Clif Walker as Front Ensemble Designer and Arranger
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(ROSEMONT, Ill.) — The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps would like to announce that Clif Walker is moving into the role as the lead designer and arranger for the front ensemble of the Corps. Clif had previously been co-designer with Alan Miller.
Percussion Caption Manager Mike McIntosh said of Clif, “Clif is becoming a de facto voice in percussion literature composition on and off the marching field. His sense of color and virtuosity brings a fresh spirit to The Cavaliers’ pit. His creativity will continue to push the activity like the distinguished lineage of Cavalier front ensemble arrangers that came before him. I’m super excited for what the future holds!”
"My very first taste of LIVE drum corps was escaping high school band camp to watch the 1989 Cavaliers rehearse nearby. I remember every single sound and knew I needed this in my life (to this day). I am beyond humbled and excited to work with Mike and Mike and continue to bring this life changing musical experience to the next generation." - Clif Walker, Designer and Front Ensemble Arranger
