The Cavaliers Announce 2027 Design Team, New Drill Designer

ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps is pleased to share its core design team for the 2027 season, combining a strong and consistent foundation of returning professionals with the strategic addition of new Drill Designer Noe Gomez.

The Cavaliers is thrilled to highlight extensive familiar design leadership for their third consecutive year with the organization, along with welcoming talented industry veteran Noe Gomez.


Drill Designer Noe Gomez

 
 

Noe Gomez is a Los Angeles-based visual designer, judge, and clinician with extensive design and instructional experience across the marching arts. A former performer and Drum Major for the Santa Clara Vanguard, Gomez’s drum corps design credentials include serving as the Drill Designer for the Blue Knights (2024–2026), Visual Design Assistant for the Phantom Regiment (2023), and Assistant Visual Caption Head for the Santa Clara Vanguard.

In addition to his drum corps work, Gomez is a full time visual designer, both for high school bands and for independent programs. He has recently worked with Pulse Percussion, Naragakuen in Japan, Arcadia High School, and others. Internationally, he serves as an advisor to the Color Guard Alliance of the Philippines and Impulso Marching Latino America.

"With such a strong mass of incredible returning team members, we continue to invest heavily in consistency. With the strategic addition of Noe as our new Drill Designer, we are making the adjustments necessary to double down on our goals for organizational culture, the creative and educational processes, and overall performance excellence. I have the utmost confidence in the individuals on this team, and in Noe as a new member of the team, as well as the utmost confidence that their shared leadership and skill will ensure our performers receive a transformative experience, while further pushing the boundaries of performance excellence and achievement."
