Are you passionate about developing young leaders and enabling life-changing experiences through music education? The Cavaliers Arts, Performance & Education, Inc. is looking for new members to join our Board of Directors. Board members play a critical role in guiding our mission, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting the long-term strategic vision of our youth performing arts programs.

Desired Experience and Skills
We welcome candidates with experience in any or all of the following areas:

  • Non-Profit Leadership or Governance

  • Finance (budgeting, accounting, financial oversight)

  • Legal (governance, compliance, contracts, risk management)

  • Business Development (strategy, partnerships, growth initiatives)

  • Marketing (branding, audience development, fundraising support)

  • Communications (public relations, messaging, community outreach)

Experience in youth programs, education, or the performing arts is a plus, but not required.


Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and governance

  • Support financial oversight and organizational sustainability

  • Advocate for the organization within the community and activity

  • Participate in board meetings and committees

  • Support fundraising and outreach efforts

  • Uphold the mission, values, and policies of the organization
