Are you passionate about developing young leaders and enabling life-changing experiences through music education? The Cavaliers Arts, Performance & Education, Inc. is looking for new members to join our Board of Directors. Board members play a critical role in guiding our mission, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting the long-term strategic vision of our youth performing arts programs.
Desired Experience and Skills
We welcome candidates with experience in any or all of the following areas:
Non-Profit Leadership or Governance
Finance (budgeting, accounting, financial oversight)
Legal (governance, compliance, contracts, risk management)
Business Development (strategy, partnerships, growth initiatives)
Marketing (branding, audience development, fundraising support)
Communications (public relations, messaging, community outreach)
Experience in youth programs, education, or the performing arts is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and governance
Support financial oversight and organizational sustainability
Advocate for the organization within the community and activity
Participate in board meetings and committees
Support fundraising and outreach efforts
Uphold the mission, values, and policies of the organization
