You can now leave a legacy gift for CAPE!

The Planned Giving Society is comprised of individuals who have chosen to include CAPE in their estate plan. These gifts cost nothing during an individuals lifetime. They can enhance your income and/or reduce your taxes while permitting you to invest in an organization that is meaningful to you. No matter the size, a gift to the Planned Giving Society indicates your dedication to our cause and ensures the future of the marching arts activity. Your commitment makes a tremendous impact.

GIFTS THAT COST NOTHING DURING YOUR LIFETIME

  • Gifts by Living Will or Trust

A bequest can be for a percentage of your estate or for a specific amount. With a bequest, you retain control of your assets during your lifetime and can change your beneficiaries at any time. You can complete your gift with just a few sentences in your will.

Already left CAPE in your will?
THANK YOU! Please record your gift here to help us keep our records up to date, and so that we can extend our gratitude.

Do you still need to create your will?
CAPE is proud to share FreeWill, a free will writing resource, to make estate planning easier than ever- whether you choose to leave a gift to CAPE or not. FreeWill’s tool allows you to write a legal will online completely for free and generally takes 20 minutes or less to complete. Click Here to get started!
(California users also have the ability to create a revocable living trust through FreeWill, also 100% free, and fulfill the purposes of a last will and testament, along with other helpful advantages.)

  • Non-Probate Assets

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. FreeWill’s Beneficiary Tool allows you to easily plan beneficiaries for your non-probate assets all in one place. Check it out here!
