Paul Milano has been involved in the drum corps activity since 1962 when he joined a local corps in Milwaukee, Wisc., at age eight. He eventually spent five years as a member of The Cavaliers (1970-1974 ), two years as the corps' personnel manager (1975-1976), and several years in all-age corps.

Milano went on to serve as the Manager of Spirit of Atlanta in the late 1970s and early 1980s and served on SOA's Board of Directors in the early 2000s.

He has consulted, pro bono, several top 12 corps in the areas of board development and fundraising over the last ten years, including contributing to The Cavaliers' fundraising and alumni relations.
His professional background has seen him lead fundraising and marketing departments for a children’s hospital, environmental organization, a university, and many private schools. Paul has served as a senior consultant of a national east coast firm and a senior director of Development and Marketing Operations at the national headquarters of the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Milano has helped raised more than $100 million for non-profits over the last 30 years and specializes in capital campaigns, board development, non-profit management training, endowment, special events, telemarketing, and direct mail campaigns.

“As a long-time volunteer and donor to The Cavaliers, the organization that has impacted my life more than any other, it is very exciting to now be able to devote full-time energies to helping as a fundraiser and revenue development professional," said Milano.

"I am so impressed with the organization's recent efforts to expand and enhance the important management infrastructure elements of the organization. I look forward to doing all I can to repay The Cavaliers for a lifetime of benefits I have received from them!”
