Throughout his pageantry career, Lamar Branson has taught and designed for a number of successful programs, including Northview HS, Lincoln-Way HS, Marian Catholic HS, the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps, and is currently designing for Blessed Sacrament Color Guard.
Branson started his performance career as a color guard member of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps (1997-2000), and he performed with Winter Guard International (WGI) Independent World Class finalist Crown Guard in 2001.
Branson received his undergraduate degree in Fine Arts/Mass Communications from DePauw University (Ind.) and obtained his master’s degree in Fine Arts Education from DePaul University, in Chicago, Ill.
Most recently, Branson worked for three years at Inspire Arts & Music, parent company for the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps, in the role of Director of Marketing, Media, and Brand Development. In this role, Branson created and directed the communications and visual vision of Inspire's programs.
Branson currently works for Apple, Inc. and resides in Salem, Mass.
