Kazuto Ito is a trumpet player from Aichi, Japan and is honored to join the Cavaliers Brass Staff for his second year.
Ito has been a performing member of the internationally renowned “Aimachi Marching Band” since he was 10 years of age where he currently serves as the horn sergeant. Kazuto attended the famous “Meiden High School” in Nagoya, Japan, where he played principle trumpet in the wind ensemble under the direction of Hiroki Ito. Kazuto’s career is with the Aikiyo church, where he works as a music performer and teacher.
In addition, Ito is responsible for outreach programs, special tasks, and carpentry. Kazuto is heavily involved with all Aimachi performance ensembles, including the percussion and colorguard. Ito has performed with brass artists such as Adam Rappa, Amy Sanchez, Andy Smart, Michael Martin, and more and has performed in America, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, Taiwan, China and Singapore.
Kazuto would like to thank his family and Kiyokazu Sekine for supporting his travels and career with the Cavaliers.
