Josh Dawes is a freelance drill designer and teacher with experience across the spectrum of the pageantry arts. Groups he has taught include Avon High School, Lawrence Central High School, Castle High School, O’Fallon Township High School, The Academy, Phantom Regiment, Boston Crusaders and Oregon Crusaders.
Dawes currently designs, consults and writes choreography for a variety of programs across the country. His marching career was as a brass player at Owasso High School and then with the Phantom Regiment, and received his degree from the University of Oklahoma. Outside of the marching arts Josh has been a white water raft guide, activist, writer, teacher, dog walker and yoga instructor.
