Jordan Fandrey.jpg

Jordan is both a performer of music and dance. She began her marching arts career at Lemont High School and later joined the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. Jordan was a hornline member with the Blue Stars in 2012 and 2014, playing trumpet both years. During her age-out season, Jordan was awarded Most Outstanding Brassline Member, an honor she greatly cherishes thanks to the incredible staff she worked with that season. Jordan went back to the Blue Stars in 2015 working as a member of the administrative staff. In 2016, she worked with the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps as a visual staff member. Outside of DCI, Jordan is also the choreographer and a member of the design team for Chromium Winds, The Cavaliers’ WGI Winds group. She has also worked with both the Lemont High School and Lockport Township High School marching bands as a visual staff member and choreographer.

Jordan began her dance performance career at the age of 8, starting with studio dance progressing through high school teams, musicals, and college dance programs. She loves the connection that dance and the marching arts now share! Jordan is currently the Head Dance Coach at Neuqua Valley High School, in which she coaches the Varsity team and choreographs competition routines for both the JV and Varsity teams.

Outside of her commitments with the marching arts and coaching, Jordan also turned her passion for dance into her career. She graduated in 2016 from Elmhurst College with a degree in K-12 Physical Education, with endorsements in Dance Education and Health Education. She is currently in her second year of teaching at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL as a dance teacher for their physical education department. Jordan absolutely loves her job and colleagues, feeling fortunate to do something she loves every day.

Jordan is happy to be back teaching drum corps and could not be more excited to be working with The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps!
