Jesselyn Orpilla is a pianist and educator from Union, New Jersey. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education at Arizona State University. She has performed with numerous ensembles at ASU, such as the Sun Devil Marching Band, Choral Union, Women’s Chorus, and the Gospel Choir. Jesselyn worked and studied under Jingchao Zhou, Vitaly Serebriakov, Svetlana Obregon Saens, and Bryan Hummel. Her marching experience includes Breakthrough Indoor Percussion.

Jesselyn is a sister of the international women’s music fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota, and will be serving as the President of the Gamma Mu Chapter for the 2018-2019 school year.

When Jesselyn finishes up her undergraduate coursework at ASU, she plans to teach and eventually pursue her master’s degree in Arts Administration. She is excited to join The Cavaliers 2018 Admin team!
