Daniella Banks is a recent graduate of San Diego State University, where she received a B.A. in Music. Throughout her college career, she studied euphonium under Dr. Eric Starr.
Daniella has contributed to the visual programs of numerous high schools in northern and southern California, including Whitney HS, Westview HS, and Mira Mesa HS. She spent seven years as a marching member in the activity, spending the bulk of her career as a baritone player with the Santa Clara Vanguard and the Blue Devils. After aging out in 2016, she went on to serve on the visual staff with Blue Devils B for the 2017 season.
Daniella is an advocate for the fair treatment and representation of women in the marching arts. Throughout her years in the activity, she has had influential female instructors who have inspired her to become an activist for feminism in drum corps and beyond.
On her spare time, she enjoys weightlifting, baking, and eating ramen.
2018 will be Daniella’s first year on visual staff with The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps.
